Well it seems that Bungie is at it again with new maps to add to the list of maps already in-game. The new maps will be available for download on December 11 (Just a few days before the HGN 2v2 Tournament.. Oh the ideas we can have in those few days) for 800 Microsoft Points (Free in the spring… too far away for my taste). There will be 3 maps in the Heroic map pack that may be able to add a bit more balance to the game.
With one of the new maps, Standoff, being described as a smaller Blood Gulch (I guess Coagulation, too?), it seems the new maps are being focused on team play.
That might not be the case. With Rat’s Nest being a wide open space (similar to Sandtrap), big team battle is also being thought about highly.
As far as Foundry goes, it’s a stock map meant for Forge. My guess is that with just about every object being able to be edited, it will not have a very strong rotation over live. If it does, they might as well make a “Forged” playlist because they’re pushing for that to be messed with instead of using as it is.

They have a map they’re supposabley working on, Purple Rign…. They’re probably leaving out as a suprise and will be their for download on the 11th. In the up date it say here’s 3 maps to look at. They didn’t say theirs only 3 did they??

Yes. There are only 3. It will be able to be bought on the 11th and free in the spring. In the spring, another map pack will be released.

No Encore. Failure to bring back Prisoner is a fail. Midship was great for what it was. But Chill Out > Midship and Prisoner = grape.
