There comes a time when we really have to look at competitive gaming and see it’s impact on not only the players, but the companies themselves. The fact that Bungie is going to replace Hardcore, a big favorite playlist in Halo 2, for MLG GameTypes in Halo 3. I mean, it’s not a big stretch since Hardcore had been a huge joke since H3 came out. Ally only radar? Get over it. The fact that Halo 3’s hardcore didn’t measure up to par with Halo 2 Hardcore’s fun and replayability plus taking into effect that Forge has been changing the face of what Bungie can truly release for fans to play (GrifBall and Infection?) is making sure big leaps are really being taken to please fans. I think this is going to be a positive step for the  Halo 3 community who were already pretty “disappointed” by the game. Now people can run “customs” at just about any time. This is a very good thing in my eyes.
